Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

HiredByMorning offers a free tier and two paid monthly subscriptions — Smart Tailoring and Job Intelligence. Customers in India are billed in INR (₹199/month and ₹799/month) through Razorpay; international customers are billed in USD ($2.99/month and $9.99/month) through Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. This policy — including the cancellation and refund terms below — applies equally to both.

2. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time, yourself, from the dashboard — go to your billing/subscription settings and choose Cancel. No email, call, or approval is required.

  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • You keep full access to your paid features until that date.
  • You will not be charged again after cancelling.
  • Your account, resumes, and data remain intact — you simply move to the Free tier.

3. Refunds

  • First subscription payment: if you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment for a plan, provided the paid features have not been substantially used. Requests are reviewed within 3 business days.
  • Renewal payments: renewal charges are non-refundable, except for duplicate or erroneous charges, verified technical failures on our side that prevented you from using the Service, or where a refund is required by law. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel before your billing date.
  • Billing errors: if you believe you were charged incorrectly (double charge, charged after cancellation), contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will investigate and refund verified errors in full.

4. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method via Razorpay. Refunds are typically initiated within 3 business days of approval and reflect in your account within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer (some banks may take up to 10 business days).

5. How to Request a Refund

Email support@hiredbymorning.com or use the contact form from your registered email address, including the payment date, amount, and (if available) the Razorpay payment ID from your receipt email. We acknowledge every request within 48 hours.
